What the Guild Is
The Angler's Guild is an in-character roleplay guild on the Catalyst SMP, a Minecraft Java Edition roleplay server. We are an independent commercial group that catches and sells fish, runs outposts, hires members, and creates everyday medieval roleplay that other players can interact with as customers, partners, or staff.
How to Join
Guild employment now starts with a public application. Leadership reviews applications, accepts or rejects them, and accepted applicants receive a one-time onboarding link. During onboarding, the new member sets their password and signs the starting employment agreements before portal access opens.
Customers do not need to apply for employment. They can create a separate customer account to request fish orders, trade services, or banking services without receiving employee permissions.
What Members Do
- Fish and contribute to the Guild's catch
- Work shifts at our outposts selling fish to other players
- Participate in Guild operations and roleplay events
- Build connections with other members and develop their character within the Guild's structure
- Pursue advancement into higher-responsibility roles over time
